Do I have to pay the Plan Care Fee?

Yes. A $30 Plan Care Fee is required for all visits and supports non‑covered care coordination and extended clinical time. A sliding scale is available for those who qualify.

What codes are covered?

Medi‑Cal currently reimburses acupuncture codes 97810/97811 and 97813/97814 (as applicable), subject to plan rules and authorization. Evaluation/Management codes (99200 series) are not covered with some plans.

Can I upgrade later?

Absolutely. Many patients begin with a basic covered visit and choose to upgrade once they experience the benefits of advanced care.
